The 8th and final season of Entourage is nearly here. The first episode will air on July 24th with a New York premiere a few days earlier. Executive Producer Doug Ellin has been working overtime to secure some hot topic cameos such as Charlie Sheen and the now ex-congressman, Anthony Weiner. Although neither of them have replied to his offers yet, we can expect the last season to be jam packed with some “surprising” celebrity guest stars.
The big question on everybody’s mind is, whether there will be an Entourage movie or not. Jeremy Piven recently said in an interview,
“People’s biggest complaint with me is that there needs to be more show — it’s not long enough. So I think that we’re set up pretty nicely for a movie.”
Show-runner, Ellin, is busy working on his new HBO show ‘40’ starring Ed Burns and describes it as “The educated Entourage”. Mark Wahlberg is also very interested in taking the boys to the big screen saying,
“I am more focused on making that movie than my own films.”
We can’t wait to see the new season and see how they set up the movie plot. Stay tuned for more…
