Yesterday Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial began. Murray was Michael Jackson’s personal physician when the legend died in June 2009. Prosecutors are saying that Murray administered a lethal dose of propofol that resulted in Michael’s death. The defense will argue that his death was because of ill health and a history of addiction to prescription medications. Opening statements were made and some of the key witnesses in the trial spoke officially for the first time. Michael Jackson was without a doubt the greatest entertainer of all time and probably the most famous person on Earth. We will miss him dearly but I think Murray is being used as a bit of a scapegoat here. Sure Murray is to blame a little but he isn’t the only one to blame. It’s not as black and white as the media might want to make it out to be. Michael Jackson’s life was very extreme and far from normal. It will be interesting to see how this trial unfolds and we will bring you the latest highlights throughout. What do you think?
