Jon Hamm Finally Wins An Emmy For ‘Mad Men’

Jon Hamm finally wins an Emmy for Mad Men - King SaysIt was “television’s biggest night” last night as Andy Samberg hosted The 2015 Emmy Awards.

As always, it was a long, boring event, so let’s take a look at the big winners from only the important categories…

After being nominated 7 times in the past, Jon Hamm finally won ‘Outstanding Lead Actor’ in a drama series for his role as Don Draper in ‘Mad Men’, Viola Davis won ‘Outstanding Lead Actress’ in a drama series for ‘How To Get Away With Murder’, ‘Game of Thrones’ beat ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘House of Cards’, ‘Homeland’. ‘Mad Men’, and ‘Orange is the New Black’ for ‘Outstanding Drama Series’, ‘Veep’ stole the Emmy from ‘Parks and Recreation’ for ‘Outstanding Comedy Series’, and the rest were people I don’t care about in shows I don’t watch.

It was lovely to see Tracy Morgan make a surprise appearance to close off the show. Glad to have him back!
